Militant eco-warrior for social justice, Trish seeks peace at the barrel of a high-powered rifle. Through her various protest groups, she enforces an organic vegan feminist worldview on anyone who crosses her path.

Ego personified. An eccentric inventor with a fetish for mad science and anime, Lleij hopes to one day hold a con devoted to himself. When not beating up on Jimmy, he hosts a public-access talk show to espouse his views on why he's not getting enough attention.

Wide-eyed and bushy-tailed, Jenn is frequently mistaken for a minor. Easy susceptible to Amy's corrupting influence, Jenn is learning a lot about things she probably shouldn't.

Bitterness, thy name is James. A hard-drinking writer of the Dylan Thomas school. He took Pete in after his messy divorce, and has shown him the comfort that can come from a bottle.

Trish's partner in protest, her likes include The Beatles and recycling, and her dislikes include Dan.

An inept high-school principal, Rolly was driven insane by the refusal of his charges to sit quietly and collect dust. He vowed to ruin their lives, and pursued them to College University, where he got a job as dean and moved into an underground bunker. He has an ambiguous relationship with the school quarterback, Dan, who may be his love slave.

Joe became publisher of the conservative Union Leader newspaper after the death of heiress Nackey Loeb. Injected with her editorial DNA, he uses his influence to control the town, interfere in presidential politics, and try to take over the world.

Rolly's loyal henchman, Dan is a sexist, racist football quarterback, who overcompensates for the rumors swirling around his relationship with Rolly by pouncing on anyone with breasts.

Joe's privileged daughter, she works at the paper with him, ghost-writing editorials and asking inappropriate questions, like why he's evil.

Matt believes that his love for women making out with each other makes him a lesbian. His foil is the lecherous illegal immigrant Akmal, whose antics never fail to get Matt maimed by accident.
